Conversion from diesel to dual-fuel combustion happens for two main reasons: The reduction of fuel costs and the reduction of emissions. HEINZMANN dual-fuel systems rely on proven components and offer solutions for the specific requirements of stationary gensets, compressor applications, vehicles and engines. Through precise control of diesel and gas metering they ensure optimal performance in both diesel and dual-fuel mode. The features and benefits of ARTEMIS systems include:

Gas Mixer Based Dual-Fuel System ARTEMIS

ARTEMIS Dual-Fuel Systems are based on HEINZMANN's proven gas engine components and powerful actuation and governing units. They ensure a perfect gas-air mixture quality and high conversion ratios. Operating dual-fuel engines with up to 2 MW output, the gas controlled and gas mixer based systems are suitable for stationary applications as well as heavy-duty vehicles.

Gas Admission Valve Based Dual-Fuel System ARTEMIS

ARTEMIS Dual-Fuel Systems are based on HEINZMANN's proven gas engine components and powerful actuation and governing units. The multi-point gas admission version incorporates a dual-fuel ECU, multiple gas admission valves and an EFI controller. The single port gas injection achieves best possible load response and maximum conversion ratios while the risk of gas loss or backfiring caused from valve overlapping is avoided. Operating dual-fuel engines with up to 1 MW output, this ARTEMIS version is suitable for retrofitting of medium- and low-speed diesel engines.
